If you came here looking for a Predator shaft - it can't tame Tiger. Tiger shafts offer so much more than Predator that if you want to take your game to the next level, Tiger should be at the top of your list.
When Predator was made in the United States their consistency and quality control were excellent. Since Predator moved their manufacturing to China their quality control has declined.I love Tiger's low deflection, high performance shafts. The Tiger shafts are solid wood construction rather than hollow like the Predator. Every component used in Tiger's construction is of the highest quality, from the kiln-dried maple wood to the high-end Tiger cue tips. Unlike the Predator you don't have to spend additional money to get a high quality tip installed. The Tiger Ultra-X LD shaft comes stock with a very high quality Sniper tip and the Pro-X shaft comes with an equally good Onyx tip. Both of these tips are top-of-the-line layered and made in the United States.
The performance of the Tiger shafts is excellent. I'm able to get so much more spin and action on the cue ball and I don't have to compensate for deflection. The technology and quality components are far superior to Predator.
If you want to take your game to the next level buy a Tiger shaft...you can't go wrong.
